Why this interpretation was issued?

In all service concession arrangements the operator receives right to use and also has obligation towards public services during the concession period. The SIC – 29 was issued to address the disclosure for both operator and grantor.

Conclusion:

The IFRIC addresses the operator’s and grantor’s disclosure of the individual service agreements.

Periods beginning on or after January 1, 2008
