In the recent times, the top priority of UAE is to enhance the welfare of its citizens and residents. Underlining the UAE Vision 2021, Dubai’s Ruler, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, as well as the Prime Minister and Vice President, has affirmed that UAE will continue to invest in qualitative developmental and added-value projects with positive and sustainable social impacts, which will guarantee a quality lifestyle for its citizens, residents and visitors alike.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, also said that in order to fully achieve the country’s ambitions of growth, we need to turn it into a prime destination for living and working, and for that to happen we need to incorporate creativity and innovation into our future projects.

Sheikh Mohammed made these statements while reviewing the multiple uses of the Al Mamzar beachfront project, which is later to be developed by Emaar Properties PJSC in collaboration with Dubai Municipality, at a starting cost of DH10 billion. The Al Mamzar project is predicted to become the largest development of its kind and willsoon become a new modern landmark for the emirates, and transform Dubai’s vision of achievingits sustainability targets.
Sheikh Mohammed, accompanied by Mohamed Alabbar – Emaar Chairman, Hussain Nassir Lootah- Director General of Dubai Municipality,Ahmad Al Matrooshi- Managing Director of Emaar Properties PJSC,KhalifaSaeed Suleiman- Director of Protocol Hospitality in Dubaiand a number of other senior officials.

Nassir Lootah, who said that the prjoect is now stretching over nine million square feet in area, gave Sheikh Mohammed a brief on it. The development allocates 4,840 million square feet for buildings and facilities that include residential towers, hotels, restaurants, retail outlets, parks and modern crossings that connect the Al Mamzar beachfront and Al Nahda area together.

Lootahalso explained that the environmental studies conducted on the targeted areashave shown that not only have all the environmental precautions been covered and the preservation of the ecology of the area been taken into account, but the project further offers a dedicated area for planting eco-friendly desert trees and other vegetation that do not require a continuous supply of irrigation water, andcan grow by adopting to the salinity of the soil and water.

The Chairman of Emaar Properties- Mohammad Al Abbar, asserted that Al Mamzar is an added-value to Dubai’s cultural landmarks that boosts the emirate’s position as a global touristic hub and a modern city that offers quality lifestyle. Al Abbaralso said that his company- Emaar Properties, is proud to carry out this mega project in association with Dubai Municipality and it is, by far, their biggest development in Deira area.
